Mergers and Acquisitions participant, Mohammed Alom, shares his experience at WBS.

As a business, we were preparing for our first acquisition and therefore wanted to build a strong foundation before proceeding. Upon researching, I found the WBS Mergers and Acquisitions programme and decided it was the right fit for me and the business. I chose to study this programme so I could gain confidence, insights and practical knowledge to support our acquisition strategy. 

When on the programme, I was very impressed by the quality and expertise of the lecturers. They helped me better understand the risks involved in acquisitions, how to mitigate them and how to execute a successful deal. This is very valuable for the future of the company. 

Overall, the programme was definitely worth it. I now have a comprehensive understanding of the acquisition process, particularly how to avoid common mistakes.
