Associate Director at Deloitte India, Vishwajit Veer, shares his experience of completing the AI Leadership programme.

I recently completed the Warwick Business School AI Leadership Programme, which helped me deepen my understanding of how AI can be leveraged as a strategic business enabler. My objective was to broaden my perspective beyond the technical aspects of AI and develop the leadership capabilities needed to drive AI adoption and organisational transformation.

What attracted me to WBS was its focus on the intersection of AI, business strategy and leadership. The programme provided an opportunity to explore how organisations can identify and prioritise AI use cases, assess business value, address governance and risk, as well as move from experimentation to scalable implementation.

The learning experience at The Shard in London was particularly memorable. The inspiring learning environment and the opportunity to engage with professionals from diverse industries and backgrounds allowed me to exchange ideas, gain fresh perspectives and learn from their experiences.

One of my key takeaways was that successful AI adoption is not just about technology; it requires a clear business vision, effective leadership, responsible governance and a strong focus on measurable outcomes.

Overall, the programme has strengthened my strategic perspective on AI and reinforced the importance of aligning technological innovation with business objectives. I would recommend the programme to professionals looking to build their AI leadership capabilities, broaden their strategic thinking and understand how to translate AI opportunities into meaningful business outcomes.
