What we’re looking for to study BSc Accounting & Finance

Entry requirements

  • A levels: AAA including Maths or Further Maths. Maths-related subjects such as Statistics, Economics, Accounting or Finance do not meet the Mathematics requirement for this course 
  • GCSEs: A/7 in a Humanities/Social Sciences subject 
  • International Baccalaureate: 38 overall including at least 5 in Higher Level Maths.  
  • Applications from candidates with other internationally-recognised qualifications are also welcomed.

  • Offers may vary from year to year. 
  • We cannot accept students directly onto the second or final years of study. You must complete the first year at WBS.

Including minimum of 6.5 in each component.

Grade C

With no less than Borderline in any element or 190 overall with no less than 180 in any component.

CAE
Grade A

With no less than Borderline in any element or 190 overall with no less than 180 in any component.

PTE
75

With no less than 59 in any component.

Educated in the English language?

Pre-sessional English

We do not offer a pre-sessional English class as an alternative to achieving these scores. Any pre-sessional course should be viewed as a way of settling into living and studying in the UK and not as a way of boosting your score.
