Throughout the course you’ll study one of the following languages, French, German, Italian or Spanish, while developing a deep understanding of the core principles of international business and management. Your studies will be further advanced by a year abroad where you will enhance your language skills by choosing to work, study or undertake a combination of both.
You will be guaranteed a place with one of our partner universities in Europe, Canada or Latin America. The flexibility of our year abroad allows you to choose whether you would like to study, undertake a work placement or a combination of the two. We do not organise work placements, however our dedicated WBS CareersPlus team will provide support in making your applications.
During your year abroad you’ll immerse yourself in local culture and, if you choose to work, learn more about doing business in another country. You’ll also attend a compulsory three-day seminar enabling you to catch up with your classmates, reflect on your year-abroad, and prepare for the two assignments that make up 10% of your overall degree.
Whether you choose work or study, you will return to Warwick confident, ready to put your new and developed knowledge, cultural awareness and skills into practice for your final year.
If you study specific accountancy or finance modules as part of your degree, you may be eligible for exemptions from a number of professional accounting exams. The regulations change, but many accountancy bodies have previously recognised our course.
