QS Business Masters Ranking 2026

Top marks: WBS rose seven places to 15th in the QS MSc Management ranking

Warwick Business School saw all its programmes climb the latest QS Business Masters Rankings with the School’s MSc Marketing & Strategy reaching sixth in the world.

It means the School’s MSc Marketing & Strategy course is number one in the UK in the Marketing ranking, while the WBS MSc Management programme made the most significant leap, climbing seven places to 15th globally.

For Business Analytics WBS was ranked 13th, coinciding with the School’s MSc Business Analytics course being redesigned to include even more content on AI so it is now called MSc Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence

And the School has been ranked 19th in the world for Finance, up two places to emphasise the world-class teaching on its MSc Finance, though students can also study MSc Business & Finance, MSc Finance & Economics, and MSc Mathematical Finance

Alex Stremme, Professor of Finance and Associate Dean (Postgraduate Finance Programmes), said: “Our continued rise in the rankings is a testament to the academic rigour and real-world relevance of our finance programmes.

“We are committed to equipping students with the analytical and strategic skills needed to thrive in today’s financial landscape. This has been strengthened with our new courses for this academic year: MSc Financial Technology, MSc Accounting & Financial Management and MSc Accounting & Sustainability

“Our strong links with the finance industry and banking giants like Barclays and JP Morgan, means our students have wonderful opportunities with more than half getting a job offer before they have even completed their Master’s.”

For MSc Finance, the School’s strong performance was mainly down to achieving a top 15 position in Thought Leadership, a metric based largely on the world’s biggest survey of global academics and the impact of WBS research. In fact, the School improved in four out of five metrics in the Finance ranking, including a 21-place jump in Value for Money and a four-place rise in Alumni Outcomes.

WBS earns high marks for Employability

The School’s rapid rise up the Management rankings was driven by strong performances across key metrics, including a top 10 position in Thought Leadership and a top 20 ranking for Employability.

Ross Ritchie, Professor of Operations Management and Associate Dean (Postgraduate Business and Management Programmes), said: “This result reflects the hard work of our faculty, the ambition of our students, and the strength of our global network. We’re particularly proud of our rise in Thought Leadership, which speaks to the cutting-edge research and world-class faculty that defines WBS.

“As a School for the Change Maker, we unlock potential and transform aspiration into action – and these rankings demonstrate that.”

In the Business Analytics ranking, the School’s four-place rise to 13th globally was underpinned by maintaining its strong position in Employability at 18th and rising 31 places for Value for Money. This was alongside being ninth for Thought Leadership and seventh for Diversity.

Meanwhile, in the Marketing ranking, the School maintained its impressive second place in Thought Leadership and entered the top 20 for Alumni Outcomes, with WBS eighth for Employability.

Professor Ritchie added: “These rankings are a reflection of our commitment to delivering transformative education. We’re proud to see our graduates making an impact across industries and geographies.

“While we celebrate these achievements, we remain focused on continuous improvement. We are mindful of the evolving market conditions and will continue to adapt to ensure our programmes deliver lasting value.”
