Renowned: The FT ranking cements Warwick's place as a world-leading Online MBA programme.

Warwick Business School has been ranked second for career progression and third overall in the Financial Times global ranking of the best online MBA programmes.

The WBS Global Online MBA has been ranked as the best in the world by the Financial Times five times in the last seven years.

The latest Financial Times Online MBA ranking cements the School’s place among the world’s best online MBA courses. Education experts QS also ranked the programme third in the world overall and third for employability.

Further enhancements to the Global Online MBA are already underway.

WBS is one of the first business schools to use Smart Stage extended reality (xR), offering a more immersive educational experience, wherever in the world people are studying. It also uses Lightboard technology to create more dynamic teaching content.

Andy Lockett, Dean of WBS and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, said: “The fact that Warwick Business School consistently ranks so highly in such a competitive market is testament to the fantastic teaching, support, and student experience we provide for our Global Online MBA candidates.”

An online MBA programme that delivers on all measures

The average salary that alumni earn after completing the Global Online MBA rose to $208,387 this year, despite the challenges facing the world economy.

WBS was ranked second globally for career progression and international mobility, and sixth for sector diversity, underlining the networking opportunities available to students.

The school ranked third globally for programme delivery, research, and value for money, and second overall in the UK.

It also ranked fourth for carbon footprint and sixth for ESG and net zero teaching, reflecting the school’s commitment to delivering sustainability as an institution as well as teaching it.

Improving the world-class online MBA programme at WBS

Prof Lockett said: “We have previously been ranked as the best online MBA in the world five years in a row and our aim is to regain that position.

“We are currently introducing several key improvements to the programme which will make this world-class course an even better experience for our cohorts.

“Our Global Online MBA combines quality and value to provide participants with a truly transformative experience, a healthy balance between theory and practice, and a culture that challenges assumptions and believes in business as a power for good.
