Fees

The fees September 2020 and March/April 2021 intake:

To secure your place on the course you must lodge a deposit of 10% of the year 1 fee with us within four weeks of receiving your offer.

For the March/April 2020 intakes this will be a deposit of £2,450. For the September 2020 intakes or the March/April 2021 intakes this will be a deposit of £2,495. The deposit is part of the total fee, not an additional cost. Read more about how to pay at the University's finance pages.

This a two year programme and we expect most candidates to complete their studies within this time period. If you are unable to complete within two years due to work or unexpected family commitments, you can extend your studies into a third year at no additional charge.

If you extend into a fourth year, there will be an extension fee of £995 payable in the academic year 2022/23 (March/April 2019 intake) or an extension fee of £1035 payable in the academic year 2023/24 (September 2020 intake).

What's included / excluded?

The fee includes:

  • study materials
  • registration
  • tuition
  • examinations and re-sits
  • graduation ceremony
  • accommodation for one overseas module - dependent on location and partner school, this may be shared twin room accommodation

It excludes:

  • residential accommodation on campus
  • accommodation for any additional overseas modules
  • meals
  • travel - including to any overseas modules
  • additional career support
  • graduation robes (£45) and photographs (£15 - £200)
How to pay

Tuition fees are payable in advance or at the start of each academic year. Payments can be made by bank transfer, banker’s draft, cheque, telephone, direct debit or credit/debit card. If you have been awarded a scholarship, this will be deducted from your first year fee, unless specified otherwise in your offer letter.

Self-funding students can either pay the annual tuition fee at the start of each year or can opt to pay in instalments with the following payment schedule:

  • 50% of tuition fees due on the first day of your academic year
  • 25% of tuition fees due on first day of month 4 of your academic year
  • 25% of tuition fees due on first day of month 7 of your academic year
Financing your MBA

Choosing to complete an MBA either full or part-time requires significant investment both in terms of cost and time. To support this investment, various funding sources are available. The sources set out below are those which have been brought to the attention of the University as being specifically designed for/aimed at MBA students. They are not exhaustive - other funding sources and products may be available. The University does not specifically recommend or endorse these sources/products and the content set out below has been provided by the relevant funding provider and is not independently verified by the University. Students should consider sources and types of funding carefully and ensure that it meets their precise needs – not all funding is appropriate for all students.

Please note that the Executive MBA (London) is not eligible for the Postgraduate loan through Student Finance.

Scholarships

We have a significant scholarship fund available to candidates admitted onto the Warwick and London variants of the Executive MBA. Our scholarship offering has been designed to promote excellence and diversity within each class, across professional sector, geography, gender and experience.

We take a holistic approach when evaluating a candidate’s suitability for a scholarship and applications will be assessed on the following broad criteria:

  • Evidence of individual impact
  • Alignment with WBS’ core values – Curiosity, Openness, Restlessness and Excellence
  • A desire to make a positive difference in the world of business and beyond
  • The potential to become a future Change Maker
  • The ability to fulfil future ambassadorial duties for The School. Successful applicants are expected to work closely with the marketing and recruitment teams in order to attract future candidates onto the programme.

Scholarships are awarded on an ongoing basis, so candidates who apply early may have a stronger chance of being successful. We offer a range of scholarships from 25% up to a maximum of 50% in truly exceptional cases. Scholarships are allocated in the following areas:

Change Maker scholarship - For those who seek to challenge the norm through their impactful drive and vision. To be considered for this scholarship you will need to demonstrate a confident, determined, forward-facing and open-minded attitude with a commitment to making an impact in business.

WBS Inspiring Social Impact scholarship - For those currently working in the third/public sector who strive to use business as a power for good. To be considered for this scholarship you will need to demonstrate a commitment to generating better social outcomes and create a positive impact on society.

WBS Inspiring Diversity scholarship - At WBS we’re looking to bring together people from different backgrounds to share new voices, new viewpoints and new ideas to drive positive change in the world. This is why we have created this scholarship, aimed at high-performing talent from diverse and non-traditional geographies, backgrounds and sectors.

WBS Inspiring Women scholarship - We are committed to working towards a more gender-balanced future for the most senior positions in the boardroom, and so have teamed up with the 30% Club to offer a scholarship aimed at females who can demonstrate business excellence and are an inspiring role model to others.

Alumni Loyalty scholarship - This scholarship is available for Warwick alumni, who possess a thirst for new knowledge, new experiences, and strive to better themselves and the world around them.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship you need to submit a written statement (up to 300 words) with your application outlining why you believe you should be awarded a scholarship, taking the criteria listed above into consideration. You don’t need to specify which scholarship you wish to apply for as the committee will consider which scholarship would be most suitable following your interview.
