Warwick Business School’s Executive MBA has been ranked as the best in the world for career progression by higher education specialists QS.

WBS achieved maximum scores for the number of students who earned a promotion and salary increase after graduating.

Overall, the school was ranked 10th in Europe and 17th globally in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2023, maintaining its strong performance from the previous year.

Professor Andy Lockett, Dean of Warwick Business School, said: “This ranking highlights the world-class careers support we provide alongside an excellent education.

“Many of our MBA candidates share our ambition to drive positive change across business and society, but they also want the skills and knowledge to climb the career ladder or move between industries. This result shows there is nowhere better to do that than WBS.

“All our MBA students have access to coaching and one-to-one support throughout their two-year course to help them achieve their career goals.”

Kate Friend, Director of Careers Plus and Employer Relations at Warwick Business School, said: "Our team of coaches and employer relations experts provide a rich service of careers interventions for all our MBA students to help them fulfill their potential.

"This includes executive leadership workshops and one-to-one sessions, as well as opportunities to network across their chosen industry.

"This two-pronged approach ensures students leave WBS with the key skills, confidence, and connections they need to successfully make the transition or career progression they deserve."

QS surveyed more than 60,000 employers and nearly 50,000 academics to compile its latest ranking of 227 Executive MBA programmes.

It also awarded WBS a maximum score for the prior managerial experience and diverse nationalities of its cohorts, ensuring excellent networking opportunities.

The Executive MBA is a part-time course for candidates with at least four years professional experience at a management level.

It can be studied at the Warwick campus or at WBS London at The Shard and includes a final dissertation or strategic consulting project that allows candidates to apply what they have learned to a real-world business issue.
