The course is taught face-to-face over two full days, at either The Shard in London, or our Warwick campus.
Day 1 content

- Wellbeing in the workplace
- Measuring success and progress with wellbeing and happiness
- The ideal job and professional workplace.
Morning schedule:
- Overview of the programme and getting to know everyone
- Beyond money and profits: Measuring progress in society and modern organisations using wellbeing and happiness
- What are the key economic and social determinants of human wellbeing and happiness? Does money buy happiness? How do we adapt to major life events?
- The ideal job and professional workplace.
Afternoon schedule:
- The importance of job satisfaction and its effect on productivity
- What matters in a job? From personal characteristics to valued incentives
- Case study analysis: Will paying your employees more solve all the problems?
Day 2 content
- Using the behavioural science of wellbeing to improve workplaces and consumer products
- Employee wellbeing in real-world industries and business organisations
- Building a culture of experimentation within organisations.
Morning schedule:
- Using the behavioural science of wellbeing to build better workplaces and consumer products
- Reducing status competitions and job strain in the workplace.
Afternoon schedule:
- Employee wellbeing in real-world industries and business organisations. A series of interactive short talks and discussions with industry professionals and organisational leaders who have researched wellbeing and happiness within their workplaces and industries
- How to build a culture of experimentation within organisations
- What next? Prioritising a wellbeing strategy in your organisation, and wrap-up.
