Intensive leadership and development support

• Unlimited career consultations with our highly experienced in-house Career Coaches or Managers. Your sessions can cover typical careers topics such as CV reviews and practice interviews, but can also cover wider career issues such as career clarity and confidence, influence and visibility, politics, emotional wellbeing, redundancy management, strategic networking and tapping into the hidden job market

• 3 x 1-hour coaching sessions with expert coaches from the WBS Coaching Panel:

Executive Coaching: Work with experienced leadership coaches who understand the realities of senior leadership roles and can help you tackle challenges such as navigating organisational politics, managing setbacks, overcoming imposter syndrome, building confidence in your leadership style, and leading through change.

Specialist Coaching: Access coaches with expertise in areas such as negotiation, supporting neurodivergent leaders to thrive in their roles, and sector-specific knowledge in fields like consulting and finance.

Optional workshops

Optional workshops are embedded across your MBA timetable and cover a blend of careers and leadership and developments topics such as:

• Designing and implementing your career change 

• Using LinkedIn to create powerful networks  

• Influence & communication skills 

• Creating successful teams 

• How to provide effective feedback.

Additional career services

As well as the comprehensive leadership and development programme you will experience during your MBA, you can choose to access enhanced services for an additional cost: 

• Additional Leadership Coaching from our WBS Coaching Panel. You can choose one session for £125, three sessions for £350 or a total of six sessions for £675

• A range of psychometrics to help you identify your strengths and become more self-aware ranging from £10 to £320

• Access to our award winning mentoring programme which has been accredited by Investors in People (IIP).

Case competitions

Case competitions are a great opportunity to increase your exposure to leading companies, new sectors, industry specialists and other MBA students from around the world.

Building your network

Alongside numerous events held at our Warwick campus and WBS London, you will have access to LinkedIn groups, discussion forums, and networks. Wherever you are in the world, you can build a flexible, personalised network that meets your needs.

Our main platforms are LinkedIn and Whatsapp and you can join as many groups as you like, whether that's based on your career goals, personal or professional interests or the region that you live and/or work.

Each network hosts dedicated events, where you can access sector insights, hear from speakers from industry, gain careers guidance and professional development opportunities and of course, reconnect with old classmates.

Beyond graduation

Your connection with Warwick doesn’t end once you’ve completed your studies. As a WBS alumni, you can still access our excellent online career resources and enjoy one free career consultation after graduation. You can also access enhanced services for an additional cost.

After graduation, you will also have the opportunity to apply to undertake up to two further face-to-face modules at Warwick and The Shard, free of charge, subject to availability. These modules are not for credit.
