What you'll study on our Global Online MBA programme

Our Global Online MBA programme is a flexible, part-time course which enables you to study alongside your career. The course consists of eight required modules, along with four electives and the option of either a dissertation or a strategic consulting project. 

As well as providing you with a solid foundation in management, business, and leadership, you’ll also have the chance to tailor your course through elective modules that align with your interests and career goals. These electives include topics such as entrepreneurship, international business, sales, finance and accounting, and marketing.

Teaching is delivered through a flexible mix of online learning and in-person experiences with lectures, seminars, collaborative projects, networking and two residential weeks at the Warwick campus, located on the Warwickshire/Coventry border.

Global Online MBA entry requirements

To earn a place on the Global Online MBA at Warwick Business School, you’ll need to demonstrate that you meet both our academic standards and experience-based criteria. We’re looking for individuals with the potential to lead, who are motivated by challenge, driven by curiosity, and capable of inspiring change in themselves and others. You’ll need to have:

• Three years’ professional experience: This might include responsibility for people, budgets, or projects that clearly reflect your career progression
• Second-class honours from a UK university (or an equivalent qualification from an overseas institution).

• Flexible 24/7 learning - We’ve built the Global Online MBA with flexibility in mind. This means that when your job or personal commitments need to take precedence for a while, you can choose to slow down or take a break of up to two years before continuing your studies. You may complete your Online MBA in two to five years, depending on your personal circumstances. • World-leading, practical teaching - Our Global Online MBA has been running for over 35 years, allowing you to benefit from our extensive experience. Modules are designed and led by Warwick faculty, supported by a substantial team that produces and supports the interactive material. You will develop an inquisitive and entrepreneurial mind that will enable you to make a positive contribution to your organisation, thanks to the transformative research of our faculty, which underpins our teaching.
• Face-to-face learning included - While the Global Online MBA is studied primarily online, the course is distinguished by including two residential weeks at the Warwick campus and one required face-to-face elective. You will meet your fellow students, discuss case studies, listen to guest speakers, and enjoy lectures and thought-provoking discussions with faculty and other participants. Your study groups will be limited in numbers, to ensure that everyone can join in the discussion.
• A global community - As part of the Warwick Business School community, you will be joining a diverse network of Change Makers, made up of 60,000 individuals from 174 countries. You will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with graduates online, and in person at networking events held around the world.
