Global Online MBA

Your learning experience

The Global Online MBA offers you true flexibility, and your learning experience is built around the ability to slot into your busy life. With a combination of online learning (both live and at your own pace) and in-person teaching, you’ll build networks with your peers and faculty, dig deep into key theories, and meet at our two face-to-face residential weeks to immerse yourself in MBA learning.

Although the majority of your learning will be online, this doesn’t mean that you’ll miss out – you’ll still participate in group work, join in with online discussions, and access creative approaches to classroom learning. You’ll also get access to expert insight events on the topics that matter to you, and network with cohorts across our other MBA courses during your elective modules. We're ranked second globally for our programme delivery, showing the emphasis we put on ensuring you get the same MBA experience, online.

Your online learning environment

Your online teaching will take place via our intuitive online learning environment, my.wbs, which has been developed with your need for flexibility and quality in mind. Through this technology we’ve removed geographical barriers, so your course is accessible to you, wherever you are.

As innovators in the online learning space, we’re leading the way with new technologies to support you. We’re the first business school in the UK to launch SmartStage®, which uses extended reality to embed you in the online experience. Presenters will speak from our virtual studio, interacting with the content around them to create immersive video lectures. Our SmartStage® online learning environment won the AMBA & BGA Excellence Award for Best Digital Transformation 2025.

Your Residential Week locations

You'll join us for two Residential Weeks during your first year of study, selecting either WBS London (The Shard), or Warwick Business School (University of Warwick campus).

Warwick

Learn at the centre of our vibrant University of Warwick campus, home to over 28,000 students, hubs of excellence in a variety of subjects, a business innovation and development community through Warwick Innovation District, and countless industry partnerships.

On the border of Coventry and Warwickshire, with London and other major UK cities within an hour’s journey, the door is open to business in the UK and beyond.

Our Warwick Residential Weeks host a larger cohort, meaning you get the chance to meet a wide variety of your fellow MBAs, from across the globe.

London

Studying at The Shard puts you in the heart of where business happens - surrounded by global organisations, sharp thinkers, and decision-makers who shape what’s next.

Home to a vibrant mix of businesses, the thriving London Bridge Quarter is the ideal setting for your studies. With world-class attractions and transport links to London Bridge from both inside and outside the capital, it’s an inspiring place to learn, study, and build your network.

Our London Residential Weeks host a smaller cohort, ensuring you build deep connections and networks.

Following your Residential Weeks, you'll have the chance to meet again on our in-person electives at Warwick, London, or one of our international partner schools. You'll engage with MBAs outside of your cohort group, further widening your MBA network.

Your community

The Warwick Business School global community is a network of more than 65,000 graduates and students in 176 countries.

You can connect with us even before you arrive: our students and alumni can offer you support and advice as you prepare to study here. We run a variety of events tailored to our prospective candidates, inviting you to experience life as a WBS MBA.

When you are studying with us you can join one of our networks, which bring together students, graduates, and our faculty to explore industry practice and the latest research in specific industry areas.

You can also join a group local to your home which will get you involved with students and graduates at social and educational events, in person and online, all over the world.
