We are delighted to welcome WBS alumna Zoe Wimborne, Managing Director at Citbank, to our Business Leader Series at The Shard on Thursday 10th May.
Zoe's talk, 'The restructuring and insolvency banking world - from a female perspective' will be followed by a networking reception with drinks and light bites.
Speaker Biography
Zoe joined Citi in May 2013 as the EMEA head of Citi's restructuring and remedial management team. Her team is responsible for managing all stressed and distressed counterparties in ICG across the EMEA and Asia regions which encompasses 70 countries and covers corporates, financial institutions and public sector companies.
Since July 2016, Zoe has also been leading the Project Arch Steering Group, Citi's project planning for post Brexit.
Prior to joining Citi, Zoe was at Barclays Investment Bank for a total of 20 years, with the last 10 years spent in Risk Management. She started in Leveraged Finance origination at Barclays, spent 3 years at NIB Capital in Leverage Finance origination, before returning to Barclays to join the Risk team. Over the next 10 years she undertook a number of senior roles within Risk including EMEA head of Securitisation from 2007 where she began her restructuring career; Risk Chief Operating Officer responsible for strategy planning, policy, capital and regulatory reporting, regulatory liaison. In 2011 she took over as the EMEA head of the Barclays Investment Bank Restructuring team, before moving to Citi in 2013.
Zoe holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Management from Aston University and an MBA from University of Warwick Business School.
