MiS presents Tom Stone, Brand Business Leader, L'Oreal

Tom Stone, Brand Business Leader for L'Oreal

Tom has a decade of Marketing experience and has worked in roles across both client and agency side in his career. In his client-side experience, he has worked in both Local and Global brand roles across highly differentiated FMCG categories. Winning numerous awards in this time. Tom has managed multiple NPD projects to market by inspiring teams to deliver outstanding business results. Agency-side, he worked with highly differentiated FMCG companies in Unilever, Arla Foods and Reckitt Benckiser, as well as working with telecommunication giants O2, and their start up sister firm giffgaff. 

Tom is currently in his second Brand Business Leader at L'Oreal, heading up the Garnier Hair Care team across all of the portfolios in which the brand operates. His first Brand Business Leader role took Men Expert to the fastest growing UK male masterbrand in the UK, delivering the best ever UK male shower launch.

Tom is also the co-founder of Re:Act Marketing who work with Start Ups and SME's on broad Marketing and Business Strategy. He regularly undertakes public speaking (in the past as a host, keynote or as a panel contributor) on a selection of Marketing topics.

In 2017, Dr Laura Chamberlain and Faye Neivens launched the Marketing Insight Series to bridge the gap between academia and industry at The University of Warwick. Designed to give attendees a varied insight into the marketing industry and careers they may not have considered beforehand.

Last year, the series welcomed marketing professionals from the Automotive, Finance, FMCG, Retail and Not-for-profit sectors. Join us this year for a chance to meet more marketing professionals, skills workshops and student competitions.
