John  Edwards, Former MD & Global Brand Director, JLR

John Edwards is an experienced Sales & Marketing practitioner who held senior executive committee positions at Jaguar Land Rover during the transformational years 2010 – 2018.

John has true global experience of:

  1. Strategic Brand Management – global responsibility for building and curating the Land Rover brand during a period of transformational growth (brand positioning, market planning, product strategy, revenue management, launch strategy and communications development).  
  2. Operational Sales and Marketing – full P&L responsibility for the Land Rover business in the UK, Europe and Overseas markets managing a wholly owned network of National Sales Companies, Importer markets and Retail partners.
  3. Business Development – full P&L responsibility for the creation of 4 independent self funding business units with Jaguar Land Rover (Special Vehicles, Vehicle Personalisation, Accessories and Classic) generating incremental, added value high margin revenue streams.

John’s experience at Jaguar Land Rover transcends BMW, Ford and most recently TATA ownership, providing unique insights into 3 very different corporate cultures. John retired from Jaguar Land Rover in July 2018 after 28 years of service to the business.
