Speaker Biographies
Steve Challouma, Marketing Director, Birdseye
Steve Challouma has been Marketing Director of the Birds Eye brand in the UK since March 2017. He has spent over 20 years in the FMCG industry, having graduated from Warwick University in 1996, starting his career at Unilever and working his way through a range of international and local roles at Birds Eye. In the last year he has been leading the team responsible for driving the turnaround of the Birds Eye brand in the UK- and has also recently added the GoodFella's Pizza and Aunt Bessie's brand to his portfolio following acquisitions earlier this year. He is a passionate advocate of Frozen Food and its relevance for modern lifestyles, and is a strong supporter of CSR initiatives such as the Marine Stewardship Council, the Veg Power initiative and the recently accounted Plastics Pact.
Steve is married with 3 Fish Finger and Chicken Dipper loving children.
Steve Chantry, Commercial Director & CMO, UK&I, The Kraft Heinz Company
Having graduated in Modern History from Oxford back in 2002, I've spent the past 16 years building brands & businesses across the world of Consumer Goods: at Cadbury Schweppes/Mondelez, Reckitt Benckiser, and Birds Eye/Nomad Foods. Since early 2017, I've had the honour of being Commercial Director & CMO for the UK & Ireland business of the Kraft Heinz Company, a unique & wonderful culture of ownership with a stable of food brands loved the world over.
Steve is married with 2 ketchup & baked beans loving children!

In 2017, Dr Laura Chamberlain and Faye Neivens launched the Marketing Insight Series to bridge the gap between academia and industry at The University of Warwick. Designed to give attendees a varied insight into the marketing industry and careers they may not have considered beforehand.
