Applied psychological research in space is gaining momentum as NASA sets its sights on a return to the Moon, and eventually, Mars. Lauren Blackwell Landon, Ph.D., provides an overview of NASA research with a focus on teams and teamwork. She will also describe the interdisciplinary approach to psychological research at NASA, which incorporates different areas of psychology, human factors, neuroscience, and physiological factors to support a successful spaceflight mission.
