Taster with Dr Maja Korica

Maja will address three broad themes in her talk on the future of work:

  • The key organisational challenges going forward
  • The key skills organisations will need
  • How leaders can enable environments in which people thrive.

She will discuss challenges around meaningful/purposeful work, hybrid and flexible working, and employees participation and ownership amid increasingly precarious and temporary work relations. She’ll also explain the importance of key skills like productive conflict, quick trust and learning orientations, as employees have to increasingly work and collaborate in agile ways amid constant change as the new normal. Finally, she’ll highlight the key leadership skills for our fluid future, including integrity, inclusion, sense making and humility, as well as leaders’ chief task as crafters of supportive environments for better work.
