WFPN presents: Is AI sufficient in mitigating financial risk?

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is being used more and more by financial institutions to help mitigate risk.

As the digital world accelerates, financial institutions need ways to better understand, predict, and protect against traditional risks as well as emerging ones. AI tools can help them forecast activities, understand trends, and analyse data and alerts in near-real time to safeguard business and deliver stronger results. For example, by utilising sophisticated technologies and large amounts of data via AI, financial industry members can fight against fraud and rogue trading in innovative ways by detecting suspicious cases via automated alert generation and investigation.
