Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m a Private Banker at DNB, Norway’s largest financial institution, where I advise ultra-high-net-worth individuals on wealth preservation, portfolio construction, and investment strategies. Alongside my professional role, I’m pursuing an MBA at Warwick Business School to strengthen my leadership and strategic management capabilities.

How have you found the online learning technology at Warwick Business School?
The platforms are highly intuitive, well-organised, and interactive. SmartStage® makes virtual sessions feel immersive, enabling rich discussions and collaborative learning despite the digital format.
Collaborative projects have become far more efficient thanks to modern technology and easy access to tools such as Microsoft Teams and Google Drive.
What elements of the programme do you value the most and why?
The quality of the academic modules and the diverse, high-calibre cohort are what I value most. Learning from peers across industries, combined with practical, real-world applications in the curriculum, has broadened my perspective far beyond my experience in wealth management.
What is it like studying for an MBA?
It’s challenging but incredibly rewarding. It pushes you out of your comfort zone, tests your ability to manage time and priorities, and gives you a toolkit to make better business decisions.
Tell us about the community at Warwick Business School.
The WBS community is collaborative, ambitious, and supportive. There’s a real sense of shared purpose, and the global network provides continuous opportunities to learn from and connect with others long after modules end.
What did you hope to get out of our programme? What have you actually got?
I hoped to gain strategic and leadership skills to complement my financial expertise, and the programme has delivered exactly that—and more. The network, the confidence to take on larger leadership challenges, and the broader perspective on global business have exceeded my expectations.
Do you have any advice for anyone currently thinking about studying for an MBA?
