Priyanka Agarwal
Digital Marketing Manager
Full-time MBA (2023 - 2024)

It is now the start of Term 2, and I can safely say I am pleasantly surprised with how much I have learned since I started – whether it’s networking, reading financial statements, or critically applying concepts to real-world examples.

Hi! My name is Priyanka and I am a Digital Marketing Manager in Toronto, Canada, currently studying a Full-time MBA at Warwick Business School (WBS). I chose to embark on my MBA journey to jump up the ladder in my field as well as work in marketing for my dream company. I chose Warwick for its reputation, modules, elective choices, networking opportunities, and the overwhelming number of international experiences offered, like the international elective and PIM (Partnership in International Management).

For me, the value of this programme comes from the vast networking opportunities, like the Dublin Tech Trek, and American Express Q&A. I’ve already made meaningful connections that can even give me referrals! WBS truly helps and supports me in my career aspirations by being that platform, that bridge that students need to connect with and reach their dream companies.

The work-life balance is completely what you make of it. This programme taught me how to manage my time and prioritise various responsibilities. While I have managed to submit all my assignments well before deadlines, still attending workshops and club activities, I have also gone to concerts, stadiums, food markets, and different cities as well. All it takes is a bit of planning and organisation. Not to mention, the friendships I’ve made and the skills I’ve learned both offer lifelong value for me.

My advice to those considering the programme comes in two parts. Firstly, pick the right time to start this programme, where you are mentally, emotionally, and physically capable of giving your 100% and also receiving 100% from a school that provides all the resources you can imagine, and more! Secondly, while you are here, make memories, keep a balance, and know when it is time to power down and take care of yourself.
