Biography
Sumedha Bakshi is a doctoral researcher at Warwick Business School, where her work focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and health informatics. With a background in Computer Science and a Master's in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, she brings a strong technical foundation to her interdisciplinary research. Her current research focuses on AI-driven solutions for opioid prescription management. Prior to her PhD, Sumedha worked as a software engineer at Ernst & Young, where she developed data-driven automation and visualization tools. Her research experience spans explainable AI, healthcare analytics, and the social impact of AI technologies. She is proficient in R, Python, and Power BI, and is an active member of The OR Society and The British Computer Society.
