Biography

Amy is an inter-disciplinary researcher bridging the worlds of organisational science and social work. Through her research, she aims to make a positive difference to practice and policy in the field of children's social care.  Amy joined WBS in 2024 after completing her PhD 'Creating constellations of empathy: a relational exploration of social worker-parent empathy in the English child protection system' and MSc in Social Science Research Methods at University of Sussex, following an MA in Human Science at the University of Oxford. 

Research Interests

Amy's research focuses on understanding relational, empathic leadership and innovation journeys within children's social care systems with participatory and creative approaches.
