PhD (University of Warwick), MSc (LSE), and Nursing Dip (Canada). My doctoral research was on Multinational Mining Corporations and CSR decision-making and practices. Past research projects include working on a 3 year multi-institutional global research project analysing mining and community health issues in developing countries including South Africa, Mozambique, and Madagascar. Prior to higher education, I spent many years in public health and in managing community and youth development projects in Southern Africa, Central and South America and enjoy the juncture between theory and practice.

Research Interests

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ethics, Southern Africa, MNCs, mining and minerals development, corporate community investment and community health, governance, decision-making, and International Development.
