Dr. Halima Jibril is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Warwick Business School. Her research explores various aspects of firm-level innovation and productivity, innovation ecosystems, and entrepreneurial resilience, with a focus on quantitative methodologies and policy relevance.

As Co-investigator on the £7 million UKRI-funded Innovation and Research Caucus, Dr. Jibril leads projects aimed at enhancing evidence-based research and innovation policies. Her work has informed decision-making at institutions including UK government departments and the Treasury Board of Canada.

Dr. Jibril holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Leeds, where she specialised in international economics and econometric methodologies. She has published in leading academic journals, including the British Journal of Management and Regional Studies.

Dr. Jibril is committed to fostering learning and development through her supervision of MSc and MBA students and postdoctoral researchers. She is driven by a desire to apply academic research to real-world challenges and support collaborative efforts between academia and policy-making.
