Dr Jenny Lloyd is an Associate Professor and Teaching and Learning
Lead within the Marketing Group at Warwick Business School. A Senior
Fellow of the HEA and a Fellow of the Warwick International Higher
Education Academy (WIHEA), Jenny is a passionate advocate of authentic
teaching and assessment approaches. She has won numerous Business
School awards for her teaching and her pastoral support and has been
shortlisted for the prestigious University-wide WATE award.


Following a successful career as a
marketing practitioner, Jenny actively works to bring her experience
of practice into the classroom using real-life cases and engagement
with practicing marketers. Jenny's specialist subject areas are
Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications and Brand
Management. She teaches across a range of undergraduate and
postgraduate modules as well as supervising postgraduate
dissertations. In her modules, she employs innovative approaches in
both her teaching and assessment that not only engage students in
active learning but develop the valuable transferrable skills that
support employability.


Jenny's subject-based research is grounded
in the application of marketing theory to the field of politics with a
particular focus on political branding and voter engagement. She has
published and presented extensively, nationally and internationally,
on the subject of voter engagement and political brands and has made
numerous media appearances on both BBC radio and television on the
subject. She is also co-author of the Routledge textbook 'Marketing
Communications'.  In addition, Jenny is an active researcher and
mentor in the field of pedagogy. Her work on authentic assessment and
fairness in assessment has been presented at national and
international conferences and she currently leads the international
WBS/Monash University Special Interest Group in Authenticity and Employability.
