Ruslan Sverchkov is an Associate Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School. He holds Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and MA in Economics from New Economic School. Ruslan joined WBS in 2020. During his first year at Warwick, he developed an entirely new module on FinTech for the undergraduate programme.

Ruslan's research interests include Financial Intermediation, Market Microstructure and FinTech. He is a member of the Finance Theory Group. Ruslan co-organizes annual WBS Gillmore Centre Conference on DeFi & Digital Currencies.
