Dr Salimeh Pour Mohammad is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics (Teaching Focused). She is also a Curriculum Designer for business analytics and management courses. She joined the University of Warwick Business School in August 2023. From the University of Warwick, she serves the wider academia as a:

Salimeh is a Senior Fellow (SFHEA) of Advance HE (Higher Education Academy) and passionately supports junior colleagues in their academic development journeys. Her own teaching style is based on a systemic teaching, learning and assessment approach that she developed at the University of Hull Center of Systems Studies. She applies some of the second-order cybernetics principles and management science to facilitate viable and effective educational gains for students and Institutions. When managing education systems, she creates new educational and management options through designing and implementing learning and management interventions. She also employs recursive performance improvements at various interconnected education management levels.

Before joining WBS, she was a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of MSc Business Analytics at the University of Exeter Business School (2021-2023). She was also a member of the University-Wide Data Science Education Committee at the University of Exeter, as well as the Accreditations and Ranking Group and Academic Conduct Group at Exeter Business School (2021-23). Before that, Salimeh worked as a lecturer for UG and PG programs at the University of West London Business School (2020-21) where she led management courses in four international campuses (UAE, China, Cyprus and London) from the London campus. Salimeh has also worked as a lecturer and as a lead tutor at The University of Hull (2015-19). She has supervised MBA and MSc students dissertations. Her academic passion and practice have been recognized through the "Outstanding Performance Award" at Exeter Business School, " The Star Award" at the University of West London Business School, and the "Best Tutor Award" at the University of Hull Business School.

Salimeh's PhD specialisation is in Business Analytics, Social Networks Analytics, Knowledge/Information Sharing, and Recursive Performance. She also holds an MBA and a first-class BSc. in Pure Mathematics.

Before her academic career, Salimeh worked in management roles in the private sector. Her industry experience in the UK is in the capacity of service quality management in social and healthcare organizations. Internationally, she has worked as an international business analyst in operations management, working with suppliers from Germany, Italy, and China.

Research Interests

Salimeh is a reviewer of the British Journal of Management as well as a reviewer for the Academy of Management conference. She is happy to supervise PhD, DBA, MBA and MSc students with their dissertations whether in Warwick Business School or any UK/International university, collaborating as part of a dissertation supervisory team, in areas such as:
