Participants will practice integrating sustainability into corporate strategies, and underpinning the strategy with a sustainability scorecard, with practical applications for their businesses.
Day one also covers the impact of climate change on the energy system, the net-zero transition, and firm strategies amidst geopolitical uncertainties, providing a comprehensive framework for navigating these challenges.
Dinner at Mallow. Mallow is a vegan restaurant in London with a strong sustainability ethos. This private dinner will include a talk by the chef, exploring how the restaurant chooses its suppliers to have the least possible impact on the environment.

Participants will examine the role of finance in driving sustainability transitions, exploring the key challenges of profit maximisation and short-termism.
This day will also cover how to manage sustainable innovation, including a deep dive into the circular economy, and will highlight the importance of sustainability collaborations. Finally, the focus will shift to organisational aspects, discussing internal governance and strategies for enhancing employee engagement with sustainability initiatives.
Day 2 will close with an industry guest lecture, discussing how sustainability strategy has transformed their organisation.

Participants will start to develop their action plans for their own organisations, focusing on a maturity model for organisational sustainability as well as a leadership diagnostic to analyse their strengths and weaknesses in leading sustainability transitions.
