How to apply

All applicants to the Study Abroad programmes must be enrolled on an undergraduate degree programme at an overseas partner university.  

To start your application for your exchange at WBS, please contact your home university who can advise you on the applications steps and key dates. All students will be nominated directly by their home institution, once nominated the Student Mobility team will contact each student with their application requirements. 

Your home university will set your entry requirements for Study Abroad opportunities. As a guide, all applicants to the Study Abroad programmes must be enrolled on an undergraduate degree programme at an overseas university. We accept applications from students who have completed at least two years of study at their home institution. The minimum academic requirement differs depending on the category of Study Abroad. Your home University will make the selection based on your academic record and English language ability, and according to their internal selection criteria. 

Visas 

Overseas students coming to the UK to study may need a visa. It is important that you ensure you have an appropriate visa or immigration permission for studying in the UK. All information on Visa and Immigration matters can be found on our Immigration website

Accommodation

Exchange students can apply to live in on-campus and off-campus accommodation. On receipt of an offer of study, the Student Mobility team will provide further information. 

Tuition Fees & Funding

If you are applying to WBS under the Exchange Programme, then no tuition fees are payable to Warwick. Your home university can provide more information about funding and bursaries available to you as an exchange student. 

How much will it cost to be an exchange student at Warwick?

The University of Warwick Student Mobility team advise that as a minimum, students would need £1050 per month to cover accommodation and living expenses, dependent on living on/off campus & lifestyle choices. For more information please see the University's website for student living costs.

Students should also factor in the costs before arrival, such as visa fees, health insurance fees, travel insurance, Orientation Programme, and travelling to and from the UK.
