Professor Gutierrez's recent research takes dynamic capability view as a theoretical framework, and empirically investigates the relationships among human resource-related quality management practices, new product development (NPD) as a specific DC, learning orientation, knowledge integration, and strategic flexibility. Learning orientation and knowledge integration represent two antecedents of strategic flexibility, and strategic flexibility is the developed ability that facilitates NPD. The second part of the seminar will discuss the process of the paper to be finally published: elaborating, submission, reviews and final acceptance. Based on Leo’s previous experience, this discussion should lead to interesting conclusions and thoughts for future researches.
