Congratulations to Eugen Tay, Sebastiano Massaro and Ivo Vlaev who have been awarded the ‘Best International Paper in the Healthcare Management Division’ prize by the Academy of Management. The prize was awarded at the recent annual event in August 2017. The paper was also nominated for the prestigious Carolyn Dexter award.

The paper, ‘Toward a Behavioral Model of Shared Decision Making’, published in the Academy of Management Proceedings journal, addressed the knowledge-gap by synthesising the current literature on shared decision making into thematic domains and utilised this evidence to provide an ‘alternative’ behavioural model of shared decision making.
