Studying for an MBA is an exciting and challenging experience. The modules are delivered through an interactive methodology which stimulates curiosity and engagement on the various topics.
When I decided to do an MBA, I started searching for the best ranked universities in the field. I think Warwick Business School is the organisation you want to be part of. Personally, I identify with the values and the Warwick 2030 strategy plan. The university is looking for sustainable growth while focussing on developing innovative teaching for its students and staff based on the values of openness, diversity, respect and trust.
In addition to this, as Warwick is a world class university in different fields, it attracts students from all over the world. This international community enhances the excellence of the cohort and diversity, which are key elements for an MBA student experience. Lastly but not least, Warwick Business School offers to the students a wide range of services, such as coaching, careers festivals and events, in addition to the study programme.
I believe that the MBA programme will give me important tools that will help me in future challenges. The knowledge gained from the programme will help me to competently answer the needs of my organisation, as the programme incorporates various areas of business which are relevant for me as a manager. The study programme covers modules like economics and accounting but also others that have transformed my vision and deepened my soft skills. Although the programme is mainly online, I enjoy the fact that, as part of the programme, we have the compulsory Warwick week at the Shard. The Warwick week is an enriching experience that promotes group collaboration and enables networking with the cohort. The learning experience has been amazingly interactive and I appreciate the collaboration, support and openness in discussions among cohort and tutors.
My advice to future MBA participants is to remember the more time you invest on it, more you will get from it. Engage with everyone from the programme, be curious about the topics and enjoy this journey.
