MSc Global Central Banking and Financial Regulation

I began the MSc Global Central Banking and Financial Regulation in October 2019 and six modules later, I am pleased to say that it has been a fulfilling learning experience. The modules have all been highly relevant and practical with great emphasis on the current global economic conditions. Plus, the networking with professionals from all over the world who have been participants on this course as well as sessions from experts and professionals in the field has been really insightful and the exchange of ideas has been so informative. In addition, the practicality of the course and the flexibility of the programme has been a bonus for me, as most of the time it has not felt like a course but more like on the job training. The six modules I have covered so far have added value in all aspects of my job as they all relate to financial stability, which is a core aspect of this course. I have certainly grown in my profession from where I began in 2019, to where I am today, as I embark on the research methods and dissertation.

The online platform and learning facilities have been seamless and extremely user friendly as the Warwick Business School staff are always ready to solve any issues/ requests we may have.  This has made the distance learning experience even more enjoyable and less daunting.

I believe this course has been worthwhile and has greatly increased my confidence at work as I am now more knowledgeable and informed on so many aspects concerning central banking operations as well as financial regulation and supervision.  I have been and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking to develop their career in central banking or financial regulation.

Thank you for the opportunity of being part of the very first cohort of the MSc. It has been a real pleasure.
