Full-time MBA alum Max Frank shares how his learnings from the programme helped propel his career in the field of sustainability.
Six months on from my MBA graduation
Recent Full-time MBA graduate Madhumita reflects on the skills and tools her MBA has equipped her with, and how she’s using them in her new role as Assistant Vice President at Citi.
Six months ago, on 19 July, I stood on stage at University of Warwick proudly accepting my MBA. It was a moment of celebration—and a lot of reflection on how this milestone would shape my career and approach to work. Fast forward to today, and I can say that the experience has been a complete game-changer.
In the fast-moving business world, where the only constant is change, my MBA has equipped me with tools that have proven invaluable:
Stakeholder Management
Successfully managing diverse perspectives and building alignment, whether it’s across geographies, departments, or leadership levels.
Team Culture & Dynamics
Understanding what makes teams click, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment where everyone can thrive—because great things happen when people feel supported.
Adaptability & Awareness
Staying ahead in a world of shifting priorities by being curious, informed, and open to change. The MBA taught me that learning never stops.
Strategic Thinking
Thinking beyond the obvious, finding new approaches, and solving challenges with creativity and logic—no matter how daunting they may seem.
Presentation Excellence
Crafting impactful narratives, designing presentations that tell a story, and communicating ideas that resonate with stakeholders (and yes, those slides do matter).
Courage in the Face of Challenges
The MBA didn’t just prepare me for challenges—it gave me the confidence to embrace them. I’ve learned that every hurdle is just another opportunity to innovate.
These six months have been about more than just applying what I learned—it’s been about evolving and growing as a professional. I’m now more confident in driving results, leading change, and challenging the status quo when needed.
If there’s one takeaway from this journey, it’s that investing in yourself isn’t just about career growth—it’s about transforming how you think and approach the world.
Here’s to embracing the future, one challenge at a time.
