On the Executive Diploma in Marketing Leadership you will engage with, and be taught by, some of the world’s best researchers, business teachers and practitioners - all specialists in our Executive Diploma areas of focus.

All faculty members teaching on the Diploma are either research active academics producing the latest business theories, or Professors of Practice who are successful senior business and industry practitioners, and experts in facilitating research.

  • Professor Mairead Brady

    Course Director

    Mairead is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Technology at Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin. Her research and teaching focuses on the intra-organisational challenges for marketing managers and the adoption of digital technologies into marketing practices. She is a co-author on the leading Marketing Management (2019) text, co-editor on The Future of Management Education, Routledge 2021 and a co-editor on a special issue on the impact of the pandemic on interactive marketing practice (2021).

  • Professor Laura Chamberlain

    Professor of Marketing 

    Dr. Laura Chamberlain is an Associate Professor of Marketing at WBS and Assistant Dean for all Postgraduate Taught Programmes at WBS. Laura is passionate about Marketing Education and has won numerous awards for teaching excellence. Laura is particularly interested in Consumer Behaviour and Customer Experience and researching the importance of consumer emotions, trust, loyalty and how to influence customer's behaviour. Laura co-founded the Marketing Insight Series (MiS) in academic year 2017/18 with the intention of bridging the gap between academia and industry at The University of Warwick. 

  • Professor Johannes Habel

    Associate Professor of Marketing

    Johannes is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. Johannes’ research focus is the digital transformation of the sales function as well as sales psychology. His research has been published in some of the world's most renowned academic management journals, such as the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management. Johannes is a passionate teacher and has taught in executive education programmes at leading business schools in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.

  • Professor James Hayton

    Pro-Dean and Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship

    James’ research focuses on how human resource management practices foster organisations’ capacity for entrepreneurship and strategic renewal. In a second stream he focuses on the influence of cultural and psychological factors on entrepreneurial behavior. His research has been published in scholarly outlets such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Human Resource Management, Organisational Research Methods, Multivariate Behavioral Research, R&D Management and several other journals and books.

  • Maja Korica


    Dr Maja Korica is an Associate Professor of Organisation and Management. She specialises in corporate governance, accountability and responsibility, as well as executive management and leadership in practice.

  • Professor Nick Lee

    Professor of Marketing

    Professor Nick Lee leads the core Marketing module on the WBS Distance Learning MBA, which is currently the top ranked distance learning MBA in the world (FT Rankings 2018, 2019, 2020). He also teaches quantitative research methods on the WBS DBA, and Philosophy of Science on the WBS PhD. Nick is the Business and Finance Institutional Co-ordinator for the Midlands Graduate School ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership (a collaboration for social science doctoral training between Warwick, and 5 other Midlands universities).

  • Professor Emma Macdonald

    Professor of Marketing

    Emma Macdonald is Professor of Marketing at WBS. She joined WBS from Cranfield School of Management where she was head of the Marketing & Sustainability faculty and co-Director of the Customer Management Forum. Before joining Cranfield she was a doctoral researcher at London Business School. Prior to joining the academic world, Emma worked in telecomms, including marketing management for professional services at Cable & Wireless Optus, and as a commercial researcher for leading consumer brands.

  • Professor Hugh Wilson

    Professor of Marketing

    Hugh Wilson joined Warwick Business School as a Professor of Marketing in 2019, having previously held a similar position at Cranfield School of Management, UK. After degrees in mathematics at Oxford and computer science at Cambridge, Hugh spent a number of years in management roles with IBM and Xerox, among other firms. He now teaches and researches on sustainability marketing, B2B relationships and customer experience management, and works on these issues with companies such as Unilever, Mercedes Benz, Pfizer and Nestlé.
