MSc Global Central Banking and Financial Regulation

My name is Berna, and I work for the Deutsche Bundesbank, which is the German central bank. The Comparative Central Banking and Financial Regulation masters programme fits me very well as it complements my practical work in the central bank perfectly.

It has helped me to gain better understanding and deep insights related to our institution‘s function and it has opened many doors internally as well as creating many opportunities for other positions.

Since it’s fully online it also makes it possible for me to balance my work, family life and to study at the same time. Additionally, I have found it useful that you don’t have to join the live lectures because they are uploaded and available afterwards so you don’t miss out on any information. Because of this, you obtain complete control over your personal study plan.

Furthermore, for my personal career path it’s an enriching experience to be able to study this unique programme in co-operation with the Bank of England and with one of the most prestigious business schools in the world. My goal is to continue progressing within a global institution. So my investment in this programme with WBS will help me realise my full potential to achieve this goal.
