How can you effectively lead digital transformation in your organisation? 

Digitalisation is happening everywhere, every company and organisation is now digital. This Postgraduate Award will focus on what digital transformation is, how has it evolved and what it means in the current context of the world.

You will also explore how you can effectively lead and manage digital transformation in your organisation, looking at the challenges and opportunities you will face as leaders across sectors and functions. Through interactive workshops, you will apply theories and concepts to real-life contexts that can be linked to your current organisation.

This Postgraduate Award will run across four days of face-to-face teaching at our London base in The Shard, with a six week window to complete your assignments.

Structure:

  • Day one: Explore what digital transformation is, why it is important for your organisation and how it has developed.
  • Day two: Understand how you can effectively lead and manage digital transformation in your organisation, looking at the challenges you may face across sectors and functions. 
  • Day three: Through interactive workshops, understand and analyse where your organisation is currently placed on the digital transformation spectrum.
  • Day four: Using your new learnings, explore how you can move and advance digital transformation in your organisation, to reach new goals and targets. 

You will consolidate your learning through relevant assignments that will provide useful tools to take back to your organisation. 

What will you learn?

  • You will develop your leadership skills and understand how to lead digital transformation effectively within your organisation.
  • Develop an understanding of the importance of digital transformation and be able to highlight the challenges and opportunities it can bring to your organisation.
  • You will be able to analyse where your organisation is sitting within the digital transformation spectrum and be able to suggest solutions and ways that your organisation can progress and advance.

Successful completion of four themed Postgraduate Awards, plus an assessed Project Module (40 credits), will grant you an Executive Diploma in one of our specialist subject areas.

 

You can complete your Executive Diploma in just over one year, through four modules each studied over four days. If you need to, you have up to five years to complete your Executive Diploma. This is an accredited qualification, awarded by the University of Warwick.
