International Women's Day (IWD) is an event for everyone, not just women, which is why we are asking all our female attendees to bring a male colleague, contact or guest with them to this event.
Women are continuing to grow their impact in business and industry - in the past five years, the number of women on the boards of the FTSE 100 top UK quoted companies has more than doubled to nearly 27% - but for women to truly be represented in business they need to be in the most senior executive positions.
The over-arching theme for IWD 2017 is #BeBoldForChange; Warwick Business School has chosen the related but more business-focussed theme of "Improving all-gender representation at senior management and board level in organisations".
