Entrepreneurial Ideas - Take them or leave them?

Join us for another of our popular Entrepreneurship events open to all students, alumni, staff and guests from across the University!  Speakers include Dr Tamara Friedrich, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Professor John Lyon, Associate Dean for Entrepreneurship, WBS & Steve Wood, Product Manager & Offshore Analytic Applications at Lloyd’s Register, with more to be announced!

Overview:

Business decisions may concentrate on which ideas to discard, leaving the ideas to take forward as the default. Many business leaders spend countless hours only to reject an idea at the last minute, or indeed give time to pursuing the less desirable ideas, in favour of spending their valuable time pursuing the stars.

This event looks at how ideas may be considered from the view of both the practitioner and the scholar. It is hoped that both will inform the other and this evening will be useful to all who consider which ideas to progress and which ideas to discard, within the context of using the entrepreneurial mind set.

This is part of a series where we look at varying aspects of entrepreneurship through the lenses of both scholars and practitioners, held both at our Warwick campus and at the Shard, London.
