Reaching Series A Funding: What to Expect

It is often more difficult to raise earlier smaller rounds of investment due to a combination of ‘gaps in the investment offering’, whether that be management team, lack of sales, immature intellectual property positions or product development, to name a few potential gaps or ‘lack of legitimacy’, such as no endorsement by blue chip companies or no chairman acceptable by the investment community etc. Through this event, we consider what factors to consider to become series A investment ready and how to get there from practitioners who have already taken this journey.

Keynote speakers from the industry and academic researchers will share their experiences and expertise with the audience, followed by a 'question time' forum. This is a great opportunity to network with student and graduate entrepreneurs, potential investors, and academics within the Warwick Enterprise Network.
