Workshops & guidance
You will have the opportunity to attend workshops covering CVs and application forms, looking for jobs, networking, interviews and assessment centres in Term 1, and access to a careers coach with specialist knowledge of your course.

Additional workshops including networking, CVs and cover letters and assessment centres, are also provided throughout the year.

The University's graduate job site, MyAdvantage lists thousands of graduate job placements and internship opportunities throughout the year, as well as a range of other useful online resources.

QTEM Programme
The QTEM Programme aims to prepare high performing students with excellent quantitative and analytical skills to support their future careers as decision makers leading the global business environment. Following the completion of their Masters Programme, students accepted onto QTEM will spend up to an additional 12 months completing the QTEM programme.

Graduate job prospects

The MSc in Financial Mathematics will prepare you for a career using sophisticated statistical and mathematical modelling tools within financial engineering, front and back office "quant" roles in investment banking, risk management, hedge funds, and insurance and actuarial positions.

Our students achieve very good salaries post-degree, and we are exceptionally good at placing them into employment within three months of completion.
