We have a long standing reputation for innovation and rightly so. We are a proud part of the global research power house that is the University of Warwick. Our desire to do things differently lies in our foundations, our research, our academics and our teaching methods. Our online learning environment my.wbs has been created by our in-house development team, utilising the latest digital developments to ensure a fully immersive MBA experience.
So much more than just a website, my.wbs enables you to engage in lectures in real time, test your knowledge, watch archived sessions, access teaching materials, connect with other students, participate in global syndicate groups and speak directly to your lecturers and programme team. Because my.wbs is developed and managed in-house, we are able to constantly innovate and improve it to ensure your learning experience remains world leading.
As well as a programme that will give you the skills you need to operate anywhere in the world, our Distance learning MBA welcomes around 400 participants a year from around the globe. This means you are instantly part of a collaborative community who share your goals. These talented, entrepreneurial business minds, along with our 45,000 strong WBS alumni community, will be your global network for life. In addition to the two Warwick Weeks, your tuition fee includes one optional face-to-face module which can be taken during your required or elective modules, you can choose to study either in the UK or in cities such as Berlin, Rome, Dubai, Boston, Beijing and Mexico City.
Entrepreneurial in spirit and practice, we break new ground with our global business insights and empower our students to make a difference in business and the wider world. We do this by constantly challenging ourselves to take teaching and learning beyond the classroom by bringing in leading experts as Professors of Practice and as visiting lecturers. It is this real world knowledge married with our outstanding interdisciplinary, global research that enables us to build links with international organisations like Jaguar Land Rover, Amazon and Deloitte.
We regularly invite guest speakers to Warwick Business School and our base at The Shard, London. Our speakers come from a range of sectors and industries, such as Stephen González, Deputy of Strategic Partnership Office, NASA; Clare Horton, CEO of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home; Claire Alexandre, Head of Commercial & Strategy, Vodafone and Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin.
You can also join our professional networks which regularly host business leaders. Our distinguished practitioner seminars provide exclusive insights from some of the most influential leaders in the UK, such as Alex Aiken, Executive Director for Government Communications. You will be sent invitations to these events and if you are able to attend, this is a great opportunity to gain more insight into the business world and network with the WBS community.
